Very smooth, powerful and Comfortable. Fuel Economy has been better than expected hovering around 7L/100Km

Excellent comfort and cruising at 100km in EV mode is a bonus for the fuel consumption. But when you need the power it is definitely not lacking

The Skyline is quiet, runs smoothly and so far is very fuel efficient. It's not an R32 but it'll do ;)

If you get the chance test drive a Lexus hybrid then a skyline hybrid. The skyline is so much better especially handling and performance

Very nice car especially as it's a 2014, has good power but doesn't eat fuel as much as it's 3.7l brother. Highly recommend is so lovely to drive.
—Jack B - 2014 Nissan Skyline 250GT

The steering is very sensitive but I soon got used to it and it is abeautiful and enjoyable car to drive. It is smoothe and glides along, almost silently, when in EV mode. I am very pleased with the purchase.

Incredibly well built vehicle with little to no rattles. For a car that was made in 2014, its looks and features still hold up well compared to more modern vehicles. The regenerative braking is taking a little while to get used to, and the "steer-by-wire" system makes it feel like you're driving an high end luxury cruiser when you're driving normally, but when you put it into sport mode, the throttle response is more aggressive, and the steering is stiffer, making it feel like you're driving a sports car. The vehicle does have a hybrid powertrain, but its more of a focus on performance than economy. Amazingly, driving the car is making me drive more conservative to keep the electric motor turned on for longer. I never thought driving a fast car, slow, would actually bring some kind of enjoyment!

The hybrid batteries cannot be tested by anyone that I have found in the north island, so the state of this unit is unknown. that may have been a factor in the purchase of mine. Alas, no regrets so far!

It's too early for me to tell conclusively how economical the Skyline Hybrid is around town, but I've so far done 560km of city and highway driving on the first tank of fuel alone and I've still got about 1/4 of it left. A lot more range than we could get out of our older car with a smaller engine. The boot space is ok. Not cavernous, but ok. If you aren't using suitcases as your luggage then you can totally fit a family's worth in there. You can also get three booster seats in the rear. Just. If you're coming from a car without many gadgets or driver aids, the Skyline is sure to be a bit overwhelming at first. Given time they start to become *really* useful but there's a learning curve to what all the beeps and blinking lights mean. I don't know if it's just our car, but using the 'Standard' setting under 'Drive Mode' switches the car to battery power only more often than the 'Eco' setting does. I might be driving it wrong, but that's how we get the most electric kilometres out of it so far. ...and if you're worried about a hybrid car not being able to overtake someone/something in a hurry, trust me, that's a non-issue.
