Smooth engine and doesn’t have to work hard, happy went for the quieter facelift, would prefer the 3.6 but not within budget. As expected a bit floaty and rocky around corners and over bumps, will be upgrading sway bars. Economy not too bad if driven accordingly.

The most important feature of the Outback that my wife and I were considering was the ease for her to get in and out of the vehicle (Parkinson sufferer). It is not as high as our previous SUV (Hyundai Santa Fe) and not too low.
